Default Type R @ SVA Imports

Hey guys, I keep seeing this car at SVA. It's been there for ages. Just wondering if anyone has actually been to see it? I know it's expensive but surely it would have sold by now.

Very hard to find a decent car these days, I personally don't think it's a bad price for a car that will be prepared properly and be in good condition.

I've seen the evo's they sell on the MLR and they are all good cars.

I heard bad things about sva and their cars. Would avoid them.

That's what I've heard in the past. MLR swear by them but then I've heard "my mate said they sell dodgy cars".

Thats a nice type-R at a good price IMO. If it had a standard front bumper I would've been interested in it....

As stated £7995 with the warranty etc is not a bad price at all. I have a mate getting me a Fresh Import STi 5 Type-R done 101k Km's for not far off that price..!!

Narrow bodied 22b bumper was an optional extra on v5 type r limited iirc ...... So not a fibreglass copy as such and wouldn't detract from it originality.

It's not really overpriced when you consider it's going to have all the belts and fluids done as well as being undersealed, there's the best part of a grand in that lot if you have it done at a specialist, it would cost the best part of £400 DIY so maybe there's some room for negotiation if your handy with the spanners.

Personally I'd not be interested in letting anyone do the work for me bar the likes of ScoobyClinic and Engine Tuner etc, sooner not have the warranty either and get the car cheaper, then DIY and have it mapped by Pat, that way I know exactly what parts have been used and it's been done right.

I know what he means though, the bumper may well have been an option but it looks wrong. In my eyes it's an older style, ie version 4 style on a version 5 car.
