The speedo is from an import and I thought the black face ones were off a bugeye? All the blob sti's my mates looked at have got blue face and 160 mph speedo.
Cant work out if its a uk car or import, seller doesnt mention it and its not widetrack.

been resprayed, and its a wrx.
No red manifiold, missing the intercooler spray controls, carpet looks black, steering wheels wrong etc etc
dvla has it as a wrx as well judging by the looks of it.

It's a WRX Saloon. You can just make out the Applied Model code on the VIN plate in photo number 5, shi*e Maxxis tyres on the wheels, no IC spray on the dash, no OE STi spolier and a WRX intercooler (you can see the empty holes in the brackets for the STi large core).

No red inlet manifold - not an STI. All STIs have a red inlet manifold.
The clocks have been converted from kph to mph, there's a sticker on the k. That instrument cluster is from an imported Bugeye STI. Blobeye STI gauges are blue. UK cars have a smaller km/h dial inside the mph dial.
The steering wheel is also from a Bugeye STI.
WRX gear ****
The rear spoiler is from a classic. Blobeye STI spoilers are squared off and vertical on the back edge of the uprights.
Blobeye STIs also have arch extensions on the rear arches for the wider track.
It's had some decent money spent on it looking at the mods but it's definitely not an STI.
Looking at it I'd say it's an Bugeye WRX that's been facelifted to a Blobeye STI with some import Bugeye STI parts. Private plate conveniently masking actual age.

The cars covered 55,000 miles this will go up as in daily use there is a fixable problem how ever as the mph needle is either stuck or stopped working but I didn't want to replace my speedo because I wanted to keep the genuine mileage. So I've been using my sat nav to determine my speed I'm going.
It's a bitser, but that's not the concern at the current price, the fact the guy is claiming low mileage (and STi) is a reason to walk away

Listed as 5 speed in description too, ****ing muppet
off topic - I seen a black widetrack recently with black clocks (with red lighting). I have only ever seen blue clocks before on uk widetracks, whats going on there?
