Exhaust query
When I got my blob eye nearly 2 years ago it had a Miltek cat back on which was too quiet for me so went to the extreme and got myself a Blitz Nur Spec which was incredible and very loud, but I got to the point where it was far too loud and was more just noise than tone.
I've now gone to the Ninja II cat back which is almost perfect, at idle is has a lovely deep burble and isn't too loud however when I'm pottering around town for example it's almost silent!
A bloke who lives around the corner from me recently purchased a classic STi and when he drives past mine it makes me jealous of the sound of his. It's got a beautiful deep rumble tone, not stupidly loud nor deadly silent like mine!
Is the only option change the cat to decat / buying yet another cat back?

after having a few exhausts over the years i can honestly say imo hayward and scott is the best.
better sound, fit, and build quality than anything ive had before.
after having a full 3" milltek in the past i can say from experience it is twice the exhaust for less money
they built me a true 3" turbo back system that sounds glorious, came in about 700 if i recall.

Hi there
Personally I loved HKS Silent, which has been very silent on idle, but at higher revs sounded just so awesome there and with pops and bangs sounded like ALS
Second exhaust which I can only recommend is HKS Titanium tip which has have probably nicest sound at low rpm,in higher RPM can be louder, but we are passed every track day at 99dB
Last exhaust which I can recommend is Revolution 3" exhaust, very nice sound at low rpm and very quiet at higher rpm from inside and we are passed every track day at 93dB
Hope this helps
Thanks,Jura
