A decent panel filter, will save you a fortune and not suck hot air in from the engine bay.

panel filter is fine up to 400bhp. Induction kits are only for high power cars or people obsessed with induction noise.

Are you going to ask everyone what the best dump valve is next?

DOING a remap and HAVING a remap are 2 completely different things. Are you doing it yourself or got it booked somewhere?

I'm sure the clinic will look after you, any your wallet lol

You might want to shop around for remap prices 1st as i'm guessing you wont get any change out of £700 up there.

well it already has a ecutek map on it at 330bhp so they quoted me £200+VAT for a calibration map.
I am only having it mapped again so that it is calibrated for the new exhaust system and new induction kit (currently as a HKS induction mushroom tip that the previous owner had the car mapped with on) I heard those are bol**x so reason for the change. I hear you re panel filters but it sounds like a micra with no induction lol

I suppose if you're getting dyno time & before and after graphs £200+ is not that bad a price to be honest. Maybe worth confirming with them that it's only a filter change and decat and see if they can do it a little cheaper.

£200+ vat for a tweek + dyno time is a fair price, good call on that.

Induction wise, as people have said the RCM kit (rebranded K&N) is good, also the APS kit is quality.

If the car is standard apart from that i'd also get a 3 port boost solenoid put on while you're there.

you will currently have a 2 port on, which has a t-piece in it where it connects to the turbo.

A 3 port has individual feeds and can handle more boost, so is a nice addition pre-map. Expect to pay around £75 fitted for a decent branded one.

Google them or do a search on here, plent of info if you look around

Scoobyclinic do a lovely perrin short ram intake, also look for a classic 3 port only about £40 and very good quality.
