Default Red hatch wrx/sti owners - paint fade

Does the paint fade on these/go pinkish? like a lot of other manufacturers red but not all!

reason i ask is that i would be interested in one, but i have no patience whatsoever with up keep of red cars & waxing etc and its enough to put me off buying one

That's my worry, had the experience with a red mk2 golf and it's put me off buying red cars. Just thought in this day n age they'd have mastered red paint not fading

My classic was a night mare with differnt reds when you get it under steet lighting.

The plastic parts of the car.. bumper/spoilers etc all looked differnt red to the body panels, and were a scratch had been re spayed that showed up too.

I never had any fading on my car as i put it down to keeping my car clean and well polished. I saw scoobs of the same age that weren't looked after and there's had faded.

I owned one red car when I was younger and would never own another. No matter what car it is red is a terrible colour. Unless like you say, regularly wax and keep it gleaming you've got no chance.

Ah, Rover25/Focus/Kia paintwork doesn't fade as much as Scoobs, though, that's what the above is, isn't it?

Could you not get that super clear UV protectant film applied like supercar owners do? it its UV protectant, then the red should not fade?
