Cool Help needed from a UK Subaru Dealer.

My Scooby dealer here in Germany has asked me to see how much the seat height mechanism would be for the right hand seat in a new Forester.

I can only assume some one wants to be able to adjust the passenger seat in a LHD car the same as the driver so needs the seat mech from a RHD car.

Any dealer out there who can help me source this part and how much it will be plus delivery to Germany?

Cheers

well Id guess most of us aren't Dealers and you did ask for one but not bother ringing any,
is it an electric or manual adjuster ? what year ? so there are loads of questions that would help,
But why not just get the part number yourself ?

do it for yourself and you don't need anyone's helps then chap.

The reason being is I do not know any as I do not live in the UK and I assumed this would be the best place to get in contact with one so that I could then call them and speak to them about what exactly was needed.

There are hundreds of thousands of members on here all with Subarus and yet none of you can recommend your local dealer, that speaks volumes.

Anyway thanks fo rthe link I will see what I can come up with and them try and contact a dealer I don't know and see about sourcing the part.

I didn't think the seat mounting frame from a NEW Forester would be such a complicated thing to ask for, I was obviously wrong.

Think you'll find the whole seat base is different not just the runners, noticed this when doing my bug seat refurb
