Default Cashmere yellow Type RA???

Come across this on E bay, A cashmere yellow Type RA with 11.5k miles on the clock!!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item1a01ee5595

Didnt think they made them in this colour(engine bay looks same colour), and 11.5k miles, the bodywork looks like its done 100k miles, looks a strange car anyone got any history or know anything about it??

Yer I noticed this the other day.

Rare car in the colour, which I believe suffers from paint fade.

Regardless its still tatty looking for the claimed mileage.

Poor advert tbh with sod all info/pics

I guess if it's been on the street the scrapes etc. could just come from general wear and tear as the interior does indeed look okay. The colour is a weird anomaly though although and maybe I'm showing my ignorance here as I have forgotten a lot about Imprezas, but what makes it an RA over an STI?

The reason is I know they did STI 6 cars in that colour as I knew someone who had one in Aus.

It previously sold for £6590 but suddenly reappears.

It may not be as good as it looks, you can polish a turd but inside it's still a turd. The engine bay pics are pretty telling (IC and Radiator rust)compared to other high price, good quality Classics that have been for sale recently. The rear bumper is also showing some heavy wear and tear as well.

This was discussed on the Type-RA website some time ago and was found wanting.

If you look at the 3rd picture(side view of car) thats a lot of overspray/paint underneath where the sideskirts would be!!

Had my Golf R stolen a few months back, So not sure whats next, If I was to go Impreza again, I dont want anything to expensive(£10k max), But would love a MK2 Focus RS but I keep seeing them getting stolen a lot round here, so dont think it would be the best idea.

No mate sold it last year as mrs couldnt insure. Was running 336bhp in the end. Had a civic type r for abit. Great fun but got bored. Then had cupra r that was mental but had no confidence in it cause it couldnt put power down and would have change a sensor or coilpack on a weekly basis. Got a tidy blobeye now nothin special but mrs loves it and strap the kids in lol

Don't think that's overspray, and I doubt it had side skirts being a RA.

I was trying to say where the overspray/paint was, I know RA's have no sideskirts, I was just curious to why so much paint was in that region.

Interesting comment. How many Cashmere Yellow V6 STi Type RAs have you seen for sale in the last 10 years to decide it's "overpriced"?
