Default Quick blobeye question

Been to look at a nice one today sti type UK with PPP was on a 56 plate tho didn't think
These were made after 2005. Excuse my lack of knowledge I'm very new to all things subaru

You correct, but some can get registered after that date. This happens with most cars

Don't have a link to an add heard about the car through a lad I work with seems genuine enough full history from AF noble just the car being on a 56 plate threw me so thought I would ask here.

Just check if it was registered on or after 23rd March 2006 because if so, you'll be looking at around £490 a year road tax rather than the £280ish for those from before then.

Apparently it was first registered 09/09/2006 so guess that explains the plate then.

Why is this more desirable than a 2005 registered car? It isn't as if it was manufactured in 2006. So this one has sat on a forecourt or docks or somewhere else for a good few months before being registered. Big tax band too? It wouldn't be a deal breaker but the
£200 per year can be spend on many better things, hookers dope, beer etc.

It just generally is, dont really know why but its likely to gather a slightly higher price than an older one (regardless of when it was built)

Theres something special about it.

The higher tax band is a bit of a bummer but not enough to put me off tbh. I was just wary with it being on a 56 plate but all seems to be fine with it
