Anyone know the difference between the wagon and the hatch in terms of boot space? I have a classic wagon, and with the rear seats folded, I can just take the front wheel off my large mountain bike and stick it in the back. Is the boot space in the hatch of a similar length? In pics it looks a bit shorter. Cheers.

Hatch prefer wagon. I can fit 4 17" alloys in my Impreza saloon.

Sorry not sure if I was clear, I meant the 2008ish shape (hatchback) vs 2000 shape wagon. Found some threads on a US forum that says cargo is significantly smalled. /me goes off to look at Forester STi.
