Default Budget 2015

Looks like were all safe, road tax will not increase neither will fuel duty, for existing cars. I think it was said that 95% of new cars will be £140 a year, not sure if that includes Impreza's.

Transport

  • Overhaul of car taxes to include all new vehicles, scrapping allowances for green cars.
  • £140 a year new vehicle excise duty.
  • Paid directly into new "Roads Fund", spent on maintaining roads.

New Imprezas from April 2017 will benefit as road tax will only be £140 as I understand it!

Won't the first year be covered in the OTR price as it currently is?

280 per year - don't see anywhere a mention that older cars will get different tax rates.
