SUBARU 1995 MODDING HELP
I own a 1995 Subaru WRX STi Rallye.
I'm 18 year's old, and I'm very new to the modding community.
I have no idea where to start looking nor what some of the thing's I want to do are called, some help will be muchly appreciated, yes I have tried google searching!
Also, any idea's of what I should do with my car? I'm looking to make it look like a rally/tuner car. Right now it's all stock.
- I've seen a guy remove his antenna (replaced with just a little black box) and somehow he wired his antenna with a strip along his windshield I think.
- I want a roof vent, but I know where to get it. But there's this other roof vent type thing that I've seen on some Subaru's. Here's an image of one https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...c8be07ed2c.jpg
I have no idea where people are getting them but I want it. If they're only custom made Ill keep to the Roof Vent.
Here's some images of my car, but yeah I'm a rookie when it comes to these things.
dont mind the mess

Just remember its a 20 year old car, So if you want to see some good power you will need to change a lot of stuff, and thats not just the engine and gearbox, you also need to think about the 20 year old suspension and do you really want to start over working the 20 year old brake system!!
When I used to post a thread 10 years ago and ask "how to make my Subaru faster" I was always told, sort your suspension and get a good set of brakes, I used to hate people telling me this and just wanted power(surly this makes your car faster), but you really need to look at your suspension and brake set up before even thinking of trying to push for more power, doing this first will make it a much better car overall.

The 'Rallye' WRX, yeah was a limited make. Only 100 odd made, mine was 42. Have the paper work and all.
For the dash mat, personal preference.. I like it.
Just purchased a Exedy HD clutch, wouldn't have thought of new brakes. Cheers

If it's got the crappy 2 pot sliding calipers on the front then you'll at least want to upgrade to the Subaru 4 pot jobs. These are a direct bolt on upgrade. You'll need discs (5x100PCD) and pads too obviously. The 4 pots do have their own problems though, namely seized pistons. You'd be best getting a set that's been overhauled already with new seals and stainless pistons. Or, if you have a bit more cash, you can go for the gold Brembo calipers and discs from a newage STI. Again, a direct bolt on upgrade and even better than the Subaru 4 pots. These also have common problems in the form of seized mounting bolts and bleed nipples. If you're buying a set, make sure the mounting threads are good and that the bleed nipples are free and threads undamaged. They can be repaired for little money though. Upgrading the rear calipers should maybe be considered to keep brake bias even? To top that off, new braided brake hoses and a fluid change.

Looking at your wheels, they look very similar to Version 2. If they are then Subaru 4 pot calipers won't fit under these, worth double checking before you go ahead a buy a set.
But I agree, the best upgrades you can do are brakes and handling mods
