We'll oddly its newly listed on eBay and it is a cat d.

You need to be over at www.p1woc.co.uk where a list is held of the majority of p1's along with their history and previous owners.

Have you not asked him to remove it from sale.

Seems a little strange if you have left a deposit for it still to be listed with a buy it now or best offer?

Still doesnt stop it selling. A deposit isnt a legally binding contract, a buy it now is.

Chances are since marking it sold he's been messaged by watchers asking what he's taken for it etc.

Can I just confirm that you've paid a deposit without seeing it? or asking for info on here 1st?

Why not post here? It may help others from being taken dry.

I did.... as soon as I saw the post... Not sure how I could've been any quicker? Thanks for the input though!

In my ownership it wanted for nothing so should still be spot on, although will need a cambelt if not been done yet.

If you want to pm me I can tell you what was done whilst I had it.

Cheers,

Chris.

just a little update for anyone interested,i picked up the car on saturday and everything seems to be ok,im really pleased with the condition overall,my only few niggles with it are the dyno graph reading 346bhp with just a ninja 2.5"downpipe,sports cat and standard p1 back box, fuel pump and remap by andy f,are these figures really achievable or has it likely been de modified before sale?also the boot badge is missing which is probably near impossible to replace.
I'm going to get the car checked over to make sure its running as it should and a full service inc cambelt for peace of mind.

Hi,

This was my p1 and yes those figures are correct, at the time of remap I had the injectors cleaned and matched, which should be in the history, it had a new tmic fitted and also had a hrc fuel pump fitted at the same time, Andy actually said it was probably putting out 350 but I let off accelerator to early.... and yes definitely get cam belt changed as it's due... the p1 boot badge should be included as well as I supplied it to the last owner (before current owner) as well as the plaques that are in the dash, I ordered 2 just in case one got damaged through use, pm me if needed.

Cheers,

Chris.

Your best bet for p1 related stuff is p1woc or p1oc, the boot badge was on when I got the car but became unstuck and I never got round to re-fitting it, I gave it to the guy that bought it from me. It had an engine change at about 60000 if memory serves, but should be in the history folder (which you should have) but there was no info on the engine unfortunately, all I can say was it never let me down and I had it for about 20000 miles. Only other mod I did really was 2 pot rear brakes off a new age Wrx (290mm discs).

Hope this helps,

Chris.
