They were just another model in the line up so made loads. There's no way of knowing how many were made of each model but it was alot.

Somewhere in the region of 2/3000 per year as a guess-ti-mate, 555 etc gives away the number of the "Special Editions" that weren't really any thing special beyond the badges and Embroidered seats, a few that got plaques 01/1000 of which they would actually only make 999 (no number 13) different coloured seats and roof flaps, apart from that, different cam profiles and small changes in the exterior and interior trim they are all basically the same car in a different frock.

But you also have to remember that they came in WRX (being non-dccd but had ABS, also different engine internals) and STI guise as well as the original non-turbo version 2 door Impreza.

As for total world wide numbers probably in the region of 15/20,000 2 door imprezas.

Of course there is. Each car had its own unique VIN. Just need to know where to find the info Matty

We are working on this at the moment on www.type-ra.com. It's not completed yet but is turning up some very interesting results

Going by the way people are pricing them these days, you'd think only half a dozen were made

[QUOTE=ditchmyster;11713383]Somewhere in the region of 2/3000 per year as a guess-ti-mate, 555 etc gives away the number of the "Special Editions" that weren't really any thing special beyond the badges and Embroidered seats, a few that got plaques 01/1000 of which they would actually only make 999 (no number 13) different coloured seats and roof flaps, apart from that, different cam profiles and small changes in the exterior and interior trim they are all basically the same car in a different frock.

It's not just number 13 that wasn't that wasn't included nor were 113, 213 etc and also no 130 to 139, but have seen numbers 1001, 1002 in 1000 car runs so l guess they do make 1000, but the numbering goes 1020 (no number 1013)
