Trader keeps putting the price up
I've been watching this Spec C for a couple of weeks now:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1916232736...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
It was first advertised at £7995, then last week £8495 and today I noticed it's now £9995
Is this trader known for taking the ****?

Probably the worst advert in a long time.
"The water cooler allows the engine to be punished longer"
Not all RA's had gold Brembo's, there was a Motorsport Edition that had 4 pots and steel wheels.
I wonder why it's not selling?

My 1st impression is that I wouldn't trust them with £10 let alone £10,000.

I agree that the advert is just a cut and paste job and a very poor one at that (the actual car advertised is not described at all), but I fail to understand the rational behind raising the price of the car, other than blatant profiteering (assuming someone buys it for £9995).

It's a free market and there are no laws against asking the price you feel something is worth, even if you're wrong. There doesn't have to be any rationale that 'normal' people would subscribe to. At the end of the day it's worth only what someone is willing to pay for it.
Perhaps you should have bagged it when it was £8k.
