Default Might sell WRX need advice

Evening all,

I've never sold a car before, not privately anyway. Was thinking the eBay route. Was look for advice as to who to look out for and what are the signs someone is interested.

Also what people think my car would be worth.....

2006 Impreza WRX
WRC Blue
64,000 miles last 10k mostly motorway commute miles
1 previous owner (before me)
A full service history
Engine completely untouched

Mods:
HSD Coil overs fast road/track
30mm drop all round
17" Rota boost alloys with tyres that have less than 10k on them
Front godspeed grooved discs and brakes
Rear Godspeed discs and brakes
Orange stuff all round
Hel braided brake hoses
Prodrive rear back box
Pioneer touch screen smartphone capable stereo
Couple other interior mods and tweeks

Just had 60000k service by Roger Clark motorsport

It's a very neat car and runs like clockwork just suspension is a little stiff.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Tell me about it, I just saw my old hawkeye for sale on Ebay, So sent the guy a message saying its my old car and gave him the reg(as you cant see it on the pics) the car has the same mods as when I sold it, same magazine feature from years ago etc, and his only response was "NO"

Get the car up on Autotrader or Pistonheads, Ebay full of idiots, buyers and sellers!!!

Is it easy to sell though? I'm kinda loathe to do it. I've put effort into this one and really have big plans but I know it will cost more money in the future and with a kiddie on the horizon I'm not sure it's such a good car for a family

Putting a car up for sale is easy, it's dealing with the multitude of timewasters and people from Ghana trying to scam you that's the tiring part. You need to advertise it on here for sure. When I'm looking for a new car, the first place I'll go is the relevant owners forum, then pistonheads, then Autotrader. Stay clear of EBay and Gumtree IMO!, far too many timewasters on them

What did you actually ask him for him to reply "no"?

John
And his reply was

No
I was going to offer any info if he needed it as I did most of the mods to it.

You may not have to advertise it. Have a friend in the market for a WRX. Could you inbox me details. Cheers

There's timewasters everywhere unfortunately.
I always use eBay and pistonheads,I buy a lot of cars and parts off eBay and if I want something I buy it no problems.
Never ever sold a car through the relevant forum for the marque.

How did you own a WRX for that long without doing something with the engine?

Found mine painfully slow after a while.
