Depends really where you are in the country.

Personally I think if it comes back and looks great you can't really grumble.

Way over priced. We talking just stone chips etc? I work in a bodyshop and we charge 120 for bumpers.

I used a company called Endless Road nr Cardiff (no use to you but as a comparison). They are on Facebook so worth a look just for the split screen flat bed VW he's just done.

I had a black boot lid, WR Blue front and rear bumps and a garnet red low level spolier all resparyaed in 22G Red. Even the inside cavities of the boot lid where done, all for £400 cash. It's been matched to perfection and he's now done a few other trim bit's and bob's. The car is going back up in October after a drive to Lake Como and back for the front wings bonnet and front edge of the roof.

I've decided to take it to the place where I had my car resprayed and hopefully I won't need my car colour matching as it was only resprayed a few months ago

I've just been quoted £400 to paint my front bumper, no damage, just stone chips.

Yeah that's exactly what I told them, as soon as the guy saw my car his eyes lit up as he must have seen £££ signs. I just laughed and drove away.
