brake hose fitting widetrack blob
I would like to fit some Hel braided lines to my widetrack blob, thought I'd start on the rear, however the flare spanner has started to round the nut off, have I made a silly mistake in that the nut isnt actually supposed to turn?
Is the pipe supposed to come off at the round section above the nut and brake line clip?
Cheers

The rubber pipe with metal end is captive with a clip too body.
The metal pipe with the nut you rounded off. screws into the metal boss on rubber pipe.
As not leaking fluid at joint put back together and take to garage for them to part.
Heat is the best way to undo cut the rubber pipe of the captive nut part pull away from body work and put blow touch to it. Hold the boss with mole grips and use pipe spanner on nut. It should undo. But if nut is no good it will need cutting off and a nut and pipe re flared.
Unless you have the kit a world of pain. So back to garage.
All depends on your skills and equipment really
