Spoke to my dealer about the chips on my MY01 and he's putting in a claim at my next service.
There is a paint defect on the bonnet to be sorted and he's putting in for the chips on the front of the wings and the side mirrors.
He was confident it'd get done under warranty, unlike my clutch!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Probs with my MY01 too.Got 12000 miles on it now and the leading edge of the bonnet is chipped as too are the drivers and front passenger doors in places.Just recently fitted the Prodrive P1 mudflaps (£20 a pair) and this has so far stopped the chips from gettin any worse down the side of my motor. In fact,I ordered two sets from Subaru but you only need them on the front.Doh!!!! ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I've just dug out the thread about mudflaps which I started a while ago. http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=94114
If anyone's interested in this spare set of P1 mudflaps that I have then drop me an email.Easier to get em from me than dealer and does me a favour too![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

(They're still in the Prodrive bags in fact and are dead easy to fit!!!)
Cheers,
Nick

MY02 WRX wagon - WR blue. A few chips after 3200 miles, but nothing unusual, compared to, say, my previous Audi A6, Corrado and Golfs.....

Silver MY02. Just four chips, two on bonnet and two on drivers door. Had none on the front in the last 2000 miles now that I keep a good distance from car in front. The ones up the door came from cars going past in the opposite direction throwing stones sideways (I heard the clunk on each occasion)

MY01 with 8500 on it, leading edge of bonnet, front spoiler, scoop and wings all have their fair share of stone chips, as mentioned earlier on in the thread it seems to be a popular problem, especially with the WRC blue - I'm still pi55ed off about it thoug ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
