It diverts cold air towards the said K&N though doesnt it ?
I know it wont be hurting the car with it on, if you remove it what will guide the air towards the cone filter (evil thing that it is) ?
Unless you HAVE to remove the air box for a FMIC I dont know many that would remove the air box as its far better at doing its job then a open cone filter.
Maybe you could get it tipped with a couple of other bits in carbon it'll look the part then as said can't be doin any harm unless the filters in-wing type then just rip it off I font need mine but still prefer it on its all how you feel pal
Here's mine
that bay looks tidy! with not too much aftermarket spam put on there too... I wish I didn't use mine everyday or id have it in a lockup and strip n clean the *******!

Thx pal I'm just in a debate on the aps induction as its the only thing left to do in crinkle red/ carbon all else is staying as is
Cone induction kits do nothing for most cars, if anything loss power. Only reason to fit one is induction roar. In hot countries must really blunt performance.
