Default Isle of Man

Just booked the car on the ferry and hotel for the IOM TT this year, wondering if there is anywhere that does SUL in the Isle of Man? Mine usually runs on 97 (highest we can get in Northern Ireland).
Anyone else took their car over for race week? First time for me, cant wait now.

Yes they have Super but I would take some octane booster with you too. Advice I was given years ago from the Manx lads on SIDC was to get it from the fuel stations nearest the dock. There's a couple along the main road on the way out of Douglas as you head over towards Peel, I always used them as they are busier so the fuel is fresher.
Roads are great and the standard of driving is better I find than the UK.
Went to the TT last year as a foot passenger, great experience and unbelievable how fast the bikes go. Get to the bottom of Bray Hill for a bit if you can!

That's good, will put some octane booster in too for good measure. Looking forward to doing a lap at some stage, staying in Douglas so will try to get to Brae Hill for one race! Not sure where else to go, any good spectator points? Will be there for Monday and Wednesday races.

Hi buddy I go to the TT every year since 2002 best petrol station up from the ferry towards the fire station next to macdonalds, only thing to watch is the fuel goes up nearly every day on the island over TT fortnight. I've taken bikes and cars including scoobys, M3, and my other baby 911 996 carrera 4, you will have a blast buddy especially as the mountain road is one way from the Ramsey hairpin to the creg pub for TT weeks, it's mental, as for watching the races yes bray hill is a must, also crosby pub, they go through here at 180 mph, also glen helen you can sit on the bank above the road as the bikes go past, and conker trees, they go past here on the back wheel at 160mph, if you fancy meeting up I'm taking the 911 this year, let me know. Or any more advice give me a shout.
