MY01/2 Creaking bonnet

My bonnet has started creaking and it getting worse. It sounds terrible during polishing/washing. I am sure I can hear it on the move as well but thats perhaps me being paranoid. Has anyone had similar problems or found a cure ?

Yep, mine creaks too. Dealer said he'd do something about it... 11 months on...
It seems to be the rubber covered button that's the 'bonnet open' sensor.
At the next service (or tyre change) I'll ask again about getting it sorted.

I wondered if it was the rubber button you mention, I covered this with a square of felt but it hasn't worked[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
