Hello


I have owned my Subaru for about a week now, it's not been the greatest start of a car I've owned, but I'm sticking with her! It's an '05 wagon SL with about 70k on the clock.


The biggest problem is I got it checked out by my local specialist (subaru4u) and there is rust on the front cross-member underneath the radiator. I'm looking to get this remedied next week. I did a google and couldn't find any similar problems, but speaking to the specialist it's not uncommon. Just a pain in the backside...

Other foibles include some bushes that are on there way out, some loom on the rear hatch is broken therefore the rear screen heater doesn't work, the outdoor temperature sensor has no reading just dashes, the interior light doesn't come on with the door opened (although the hatch light works, and the door open light comes on when each door is opened) and the OBD2 port doesn't read with my Bluetooth reader (which still works on my BMW).


I got it for a good enough price (I think...)... Only time will tell! I'll be rectifying all these bits, and giving her some love!
