After many years its time to buy a new car for the wife.
She has just test driven the above car and is very impressed with the 2.0lt version.
Managed to get a very good price from one of the car supermarkets.
Just trying to getting some feedback from anyone who may have or still does own one.Looked at the Saab but she wants something smaller as she has had a Spacewagon for the last 7 years.
Nice car to drive and quite nippy.

Any thoughts.

Not driven one recently but those of a few years ago were not very impressive - scuttle shake and noisy.

I drove one of the girls at works X reg one a few weeks back, this was only the 1.6 it was ok, but i didn't like the way the car felt, didn't feel rigid enough for me, but then i am used to the scooby!

The Mercs were for my brothers until the decided to change their minds for the hundreth time and have now ordered Bimmers for September delivery.
Lisa thought the Saab to big and a bit of an old womens car.Suits me the Renault is cheaper.
I drove the Renault quite nippy and although it does suffer from scuttle shake I don't think that she really noticed it with the radio blaring and the wind in her hair and the kids shouting in the back.
