After 203 votes the top 3 is a bit hit and miss

1.) 2014 JDM STI
2.) 2003 WRX V-Limited
3.) 1998 22B

I'd expect a lightweight classic and a Spec C to hit the top 3 eventually, but which variants is unclear.

TBH BPR I'm very interested to see which comes out on top regarding the usual suspects, in a worldwide vote.

P1?
22B?
Spec C?
S204?
Early RA?
Cosworth?
Type R?

Matt, I am genuinly starting to think you have mental issues with this 'WRX' thing. We are all impreza owners, and everyone loves a bit of the 'WRX vs STi' banter from time to time, but you cross the line with it. Let's be honest, this poll is about one thing.....you hoping that the V-limited will be top.

You're not right mate.

Lol, my argument was always the WRX/STI Newage battle, this list features the classics!

Is this a 1994 STI RA? It's currently up to 2nd.

I was told this when my Top Gear poll had 75 voters.

Was the JDM strictly hatchback from 2008-2011? the list is a bugger to compile.

This will help me with the classic pics, cheers type-ra!

It's been a bugger to do so far, different versions registered in the same year hasn't helped.

Because you have done every year/model Impreza, how do you compare a 1993 JDM and 1994 JDM which is in your list, also whats a 1999 prodrive???

I noticed this too, the RB320 appears twice even though they didn't change between 06 and 07

Mine's listed as '2006 Sti Spec D (jdm)'
No such thing as a JDM Spec D as far as I'm aware.

Yeah I was reading a subaru revision web page and the differences in some models from 1 year to the next made me think it was easier to list each year, such as the 2004 STI v 2005 STI, widetrack, arch extensions etc. Could be a case of the straw that broke the came's back, some years may have had something as simple as a week fuel pump that destroyed engines etc and it was revised the year after.
I can't remember if it was just the JDM or both but it said the 2002 Bugeye WRX had revisions to the gearbox after customers complained about lack of acceleration!
Obviously if there are no significant changes vote for the newest of the two or both!

I got bored after 10 seconds scrolling down the list trying to figure out all the different versions. I'd like to think I'm very clued up on the different versions but when you've got about 40 different ones..... No thanks.

Rank them both up/down if there are no discernible differences.

It might be a site listing the 1999 Prodrive WR Sport as just 1999 Prodrive. I'll double check.

EDIT: Should have read 1994 Prodrive

Thats just normal for a WRX, JDM and UK, pretty sure it continued after the bugeye too, and they never sorted the problem.

Yeah, Top Gear against a KIA or some other crap little hatch, both pulled away in 4th gear from a rolling start, which would never happen in real life as you would never let a car pull away while staying in 4th with low rpm and no boost!!! Come on even a Impreza or any turbo car would struggle in the same scenario!!

I've choose the wrong gear quite a few times against NA cars and paid for it through lag. Sometimes when you are both casual down a dual carriage at 30mph I'm sat in bloody 1st gear waiting (SCREAMING), 2nd is just too damn long.
