Hi, I bought a roof scoop for my impreza and would like to know what is the best adhesive to use to stick it on as I don't want to drill the roof to screw it down, I have heard about using windscreen adhesive or sikaflex, the problem is, with these you can't get the adhesive off if I decide to take the roof scoop off again, what is the best thing to stick it on with that can also be cleaned of easily at a later date.
Any help much appreciated and thanks in advance. 👍👍
If your cutting/ drilling the roof for air to get in, surely a few small fixing holes won't hurt?
Hi, I bought the roof scoop from LEScoobies and it is only the scoop to go on the roof and not a Vent so it sticks onto the roof without any cutting or any internal pieces and is for show only.
I have a similar issue, not a roof scoop. "what if it flies off on the motorway and kills a biker?" Is still ringing in my ears... Is tiger seal really that reliable?

Hi, I am a biker and have thought about this and I think that certain windscreen sealants would be sufficient.
I've got a fireblade, an R1 and a CBX and obviously my wrx.

Silicone?
Have you got any fake bits on any of your bikes?

Appreciate your thoughts mate. I'm looking at sticking on a carbon fibre roof vane spoiler, as bolting would be a complete nightmare. Would probably mean moving the rear seat belt bolts and all sorts of nasties, so I'm thinking tiger seal is the best alternative.

No need to move seat belt bolts.... I have posted a link to you tube showing how to bolt one on.
The best this is to get an OEM one and use Rivnuts.....
Can i ask why? It does not do anything, it looks totally ****e, devalues the car, ruins the paint trying to remove it and even the 14 year olds in the mcdonalds car park will laugh at you.
As said, don't bother resell it on ebay then use the money and the money saved not buying tiger seal towards some uprated brake pads, one of the best mods you'll ever do.
Don't do it mate it's just a load off s--t and it will ad drag to the car don't look to good and you will just want it off well this is what I think but it's your car
Take one vindaloo curry, add a packet of laxatives. The resulting mess that comes out of your backside will be the perfect adhesive, it will blend seamlessly with the fake roof vent
