Default What's my car worth?

54 plate
Black STI type UK
75000 miles 11 service stamps but not been serviced since April 2014 which was a timing belt replacement.

Has BC coilovers but one of the rears is knocking (still have original shocks however)
Has Racebox exhaust, other than that standard.

Overall condition I would say average - has rust forming on both front wheel arches, a couple of small car park dings in front doors and various stone chips to the front consistent with age.

Exhaust is blowing slightly.

I just don't know what to put this up for sale for, any input as to what I should price this at? obviously it is for someone who is willing to give it some tlc and get it back to its former glory but as I said, not a clue what it is worth.

Any input is much appreciated

Nothing wrong with a bit of wishful thinking Realistically car is probably worth 6k as it would break for more than that

I would advise you spend a few hundred quid on it before sale, not only will it increase the cars value but also make it much easier to sell.
Full service, circa £100
Get the rust on the front arches sorted, circa £250
Exhaust blow, probably a cheap £10 gasket.
Have a dent man go round it, roughly £25 a panel.

A £7500 asking price wouldn't look out of place if the above are done, as it is you'll probably see circa £6000 for it.

Yeah, you are correct of course, I am just very busy but it is something to think about and thanks for the input.
As a side note - do you think the dealers that trade on here would take it for breaking? if so how much would they offer.
I just want it gone now as I have seen a car that fits my criteria.

You'd be mad to even consider that, a breaker will give you around 5k for it if you're lucky.

Why would you consider selling it to get broken when with what sounds like a bit of TLC and the car will be someones pride and joy and live on a bit longer..!
