Default Fitment for aftermarket wheels on 2011/12 saloon?

What are people running and what's the consensus? I'd probably look to stay on 18's I think and would be interested to know if I should stay 8.5J or go 9J?

If going 9J, what sort of offset would I be looking for? What sort of offset are people running on 8.5J? I know OEM is ET55.

To run wider wheels you need a lower offset but how low depends. What's you standard wheels 8j or 7.5

Most 9.5j are in the mid to late 30et's but these are usually only needed on high power rwd cars. Unless the wheels are lighter (unlikley) you will loose performance and handing. With wider wheels

Standard are 8.5 IIRC. Those look good Don, I'd be happy to stay 18x8.5.
