Default New age engine conversion

Has anyone put a new age Jdm twin scroll engine into a classic before?

Currently in the process of doing this conversion and just wanted to see what people's thought were on it?

I haven't done it but what's not to love about the idea?

I have a spec-c engined twinscroll in my classic but never swapped the loom over as i had a custom loom made for it as for fitting the engine and 6 speed was a doddle everything bolts into place as per a classic engine.

Who made your conversion harness? What do you have to supply them to do it?

Also how is the car? What sort of power are you running?

I did a version 8 into a classic, But used the classic manifold and wiring but had to rewire the cam and crank sensors & made a loom for the avcs to the ECU it was running Alkatek.
The injector covers had to be machined down to stop them fouling the AVCS Valves and modified the OSR cam sensor plug due to the fuel pressure reg. Would have been easier had the customer gone top feed injectors but couldn't justify the extra costs.

Out of interest, I'm guessing that just fitting a TS turbo (plus obviously manifold, uppipe, downpipe, sump) to a Classic engine - i.e. sans the AVCS - will NOT give you the full TS experience (due to the lack of AVCS to help)? A sort of "TS Lite", if you will?

The harness for the lights /indicators etc to keep the car MOT compliant was made for me by a mate Adam who used to work for M-sport (building the focus works cars and the fiesta's looms) this all goes to a switch panel all fuses are push to reset and the relays are hidden under the dash the engine loom to my syvecs 6GP was made for me and fitted by John Stevenson he supplied all the connectors due to things out of my control mainly work and time I have only had the car set up by andy F on low boost while I had to sort out a problem with the intercooler but will be looking at hopefully 450 of both im running a clinic billet twinscroll 42/46 hybrid.
