Whiteline 22mm front arb....adjust or non ajust
Dose it really really make that much difference between the two settings on the adjustable whiteline 22 mm front arb or will it be ok to just use the 22mm non ajustable with the one setting..
I've managed to source a 24mm adj whiteline rear arb and drop links just need abit of advice on the front...
There for my non widetrack newage spec c .... So thought I would ask before putting up In the wanted section
Cheeeeerssss

I'm running Whiteline 24mm rear and 22mm front.
Beware, unless your Spec C is lowered, a Whiteline front 22mm runs the risk of "Having a go" at your lower aluminium arms.
I have a 2007 STi Spec D Hawkeye. I took it into the dealer today with a nasty squeak...
My car is not lowered in any way, and the squeaking is where the ARB has carved two nice notches into my lower arms, metal on metal and the twisting is causing the ARB bushes to cry out in agony!
On Thursday this week I'm going back to standard STi front ARB, so if you want a Whiteline 22mm front one at a decent price, gissa shout. I'm based in Aldershot Hants, and work near Guildford. Not sure if this will fit your car, but newage so probably.
There's nothing wrong with it, just not suitable for a non lowered car.
No problems from my rear 24mm, so keeping that as is for now.
PS, my front one is adjustable, it has two bolt holes at each end, and was fitted in May 2014 13k miles ago.

Ok mate, my car is a MY 2006 if that helps. I'll be bringing it home with me on Thursday, so if it fits and can be of use to you, just let me know.
Not sure what year the ARB was manufactured.

Do you no if yours is a wide track, so dose it has the trim around the rear wheel arch is a general give away ?? If ur unsure I can find some pics.... It would be ideal if it did did fit though but not holding out much hope

Yes, 100% mine is widetrack with wheel arch trims and DCCD etc. I thought the front track on all newage was the same....I could be very wrong there though!
If it makes any difference, my wheel PCD is the 114.3 stud pattern.

All newage front ARBs are the same - it's the rears that are different for widetracks vs non.
Hawkeye D - are you prepared for your rear to be a bit more "lively" if running 24mm rear and OEM (19mm) front?

No comment! However, if I get problems I'll be going back to standard on the rear too.

Hmmm it might be a good to go then "hawkeye D"
Plenty thanks for your help how sure are you about the all newage fitment is the same on the front ? Just different codes on the whiteline website .... Just usually they keep the part numbers the same if compatible through the years...

99% although would be good to double-check as I am occasionally mistaken!
I note Scoobyworx list the same part number for widetrack and non (the BSF33 range - not sure how these differ from the BSF36 models listed on the Whiteline site as being suited to widetrack cars):

Hawkeye d, seems you have incorrect front drop links or washers fitted if your link bushes are crying out in agony.
Csf, IMO front ajustable or not, you can just balance it out on rear if too skittish at back. Although front ajustable will just make it more softer or harder on front.
I have Perrin 23/25 (front non ajustable) I had rear on hard and it was very lary on my type r so put it on medium and now a bit better but still can catch me if I'm not careful, but not suprised with 65% power to rear with open diff.
I'm happy to leave at that and just use dccd accordingly

Whiteline sat on bottom arm
If you want a bar that fits then go for SuperPro.
Had some issues with Whiteline bars not fitting same issues sat on bottom arms
SuperPro miles clear
Issues for Whiteline stemmed from production been moved to another country. They have apparently now been sorted from what I'm told but I've had a few bars which all have same issues that have been scrapped. New stock of correctly made bars isn't due into the UK for 4-6 weeks but I would estimate on previous delivery times more likely 8 weeks to be safe
SuperPro also use a new type of coating which keeps the bars looking fresh so they don't look rusty after 6 months.

what about rears? same or different?

Tbh I didn't check out the rears as I already have one ready and waiting but as far as I'm aware they are different maybe give Darrell a call above to confirm or check out the whiteline website or scoobyworx as they have them listed there to.
I spoke to Darrell @ scoobyworx earlier and he was more than helpful regarding passing on info on the rollbars as u can see above.
