Hatch Sti.. got the itch for one
When the hatch first came out I really wasn't a fan at all. Not the blob is almost ready with the 2.35 build it's not going to be a nice every day car and on long journeys. Seen a couple of hatches and in white I think they look amazing know they have the dressed engine problems but something to use every day and on long journeys I'm being pulled to scratch the itch for one..
What's everyone's thoughts on them??
Found this I really like

As with all 2.5's, you'd be silly to not factor in for a rebuild, ESPECIALLY if it's been mapped on standard internals (as this example has). Looks nice though

Just hit 530bhp in my hatch (forged of course) and can still drive it every day and on long journeys as its so relaxing to drive and Cruise control is just the icing on the cake lol

Cracking car - if you do your homework and get a forged one, (or keep 4k in your pocket to get the work done if/when the engine goes),
In the right colour and with the right mods it is a weapon !

Advantages an disadvantages of both mate as we talked about mate , one reason why I made my mind up to keep the original ecu , and haven't regretted it so far as the car drives lovely now iv been back for a tweak and plan on leaving it where it is now and just enjoying it

I was quite suprised by the spec in my 330s . Not sure on long journeys as i haven't went on one but it has Recaros, padded Alcantera arm rests on the door cards and centre. Cruise control, 3 driving modes , "intelligent" is nice and smooth and the stereo has dvd and dolby surround sound. Imagine a long journey wouldn't be horrible !

Think it's Ryan's dad's car... so should be worth considering
BTW.. my 330s (on some orange STi 17" alloys for the winter months.. then it's normally on 19" Prodrive GT2's)

Spoke to your dad via pm on here. Think his is at about 70k milage which is a bit high for what I'm looking for.
The first hatch I have put up would be perfect but is the 330s so massive engine problems which will need sorted in and guy is wanting 15k for the car when it needs 4k worth of engine sorting.
