The rusty bonnet clips(which would look terrible even if they were new), the two scoop things and the front bumper looks like it was cut and fitted by a small child.....All in my opinion of course.

....you did ask.

what do you all think?

No worries pal, each to their own. I quite like the 2 scoops, I concede the front splitter looks like it was cut and fitted by a small child though.

However nothing I can't sort out, only had it for 6 days so far.

It seems as though the engine and gearbox are sound though (so far)

I want to make it "my own" anyway so going to sort out the cosmetics over the next few months.

Running a forged engine, Scoobyclinic turbo, and got printout's for 350+HP.

Also running a stupid VTA dump valve, would like to change it, it seems to vent far too easily, even lifting of on about 30% throttle.

If I changed it for a recirc valve would I need to get it remapped?

Got decent tyres on it, decent uprated brakes, STI 8 interior, and only 1 tiny spot of rust coming through on the rear arch. for an 18 year old car it honestly looks cleaner in the works car park than some 6 year old cars!!

Except for the rusty bonnet catches, which are doing my head in thinking about them at this very moment, thanks for picking up on them

All the little things it needs give me something to do over the next 6 months though, my bank balance is currently in the gym as I type this doing some warmups for the hardcore workout its going to get in the next 6 months

Looks nice bud, you've done well, how many miles on the clock? To be honest i'd buy a new bonnet and put vents back to standard. And sort the pipe workout for fmic and facelift bumper.

I can't see you needing a remap for swapping from VTA, most people say you can't map for VTA. I'm not sure why you can't, but the ecu is expecting the air to come back into the inlet manifold, and its vented instead.

The passenger side scoop diverts nice cold air onto the induction kit. drivers side is just blanked off underneath. I quite like the scoops TBH.

Its got 115K on the shell but only about 20k on the forged engine.
Running an SC36 turbo, when I was looking I was more concerned with the mechanicals being up to scratch, far easier (and cheaper) to sort the cosmetics out.

Looking to get the dash flocked and a new steering wheel as they are both showing their age, sort out the little rust bubble on the rear arch and then possibly give it a respray or get it wrapped.

Anyone have any experience of wrapping? Does it last for a decent amount of time? how hard is it to remove, does it leave sticky S**t all over the panels?

Never seen the attracting to flocking. Wouldn't buy a Subaru with it on.

Think looks better with one scoop, other scoop with be just creating drag. Induction kits don't really do anything unless your running big bhp.
