Default Should I go back to black?

My side skirts are now colour coded but they're in need of tidying. So the question is, should I go back to black?

This photo is an old one of my car I found on here with them black.

Do you have one of colour coded? I prefer colour coded for facelift models and not colour coded for preface lift models. I don't know why

Colour coded all the way bud, that looks loads better. I though 2000 reg onwards were all colour coded as standard anyway.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking about going back to standard but just can't make up my mind. As for the 2000 reg being colour coded, I have no idea. I just found this old photo and it has black trim.

On a side note, some might think it's a different car because of the reg but it had a cherished plate on when I got it and I was issued with the new number.

Looks massively better, getting parts red prayed shouldn't cost to much.

I think you're both right. I just seen the first photo and thought it might be good to return it back but looking at both photos I prefer colour coded. I get it priced up along with my arches

I think both colour coding, or black work - but it has to be all or nothing. I quite like the black plastic trims on my wagon, but that's because they're all black plastic - the skirts, spats, mirrors, door handles and roof bars.

Looking at that first picture of your car, all those bits are colour coded except the skirts which makes them noticeably stand out. The second photo with the colour coded skirts looks much better in your case.
