My first scooby hatch.
Ive just bought my first hatchback wrx after owning several bugeye , blobeyes etc , so its all new at the moment and i will see how it compares. All standard except a prodrive backbox as far as i can tell. 72k miles but does have slight gearbox whine at certain revs mainly in 2nd and 3rd.
What fuel octane are most people running their standard 2.5s on ?
im going to use 97 i think, middle ground between the 95 and 99.

My mum and stepdad both have hatches after owning classics and bugs, mums is a rx and the other a sti, the sti also has a gearbox whine, seems common in them. Driving them is so different, much more refined and not so much scoob like unfortunately. Mum's rx is boring, cheap to run, comfy huggy seats but just to quiet. Hopefully your little hatch will give you many happy years of motoring.
