Default Impreza 2.0R 2008 Flat spot

Hi all,

I have just received my 2008 Impreza non turbo and been driving it for a few days and have noticed a decent amount of hesitation/flat spot when accelerating at low revs. This is a common problem for the older Impreza's but over some research I cant find anyone with 08+ models with this issue. People with this Issue say it could have something to do with o2 censors or ecu and some people went to Subaru and got their ecu reset or new software uploaded to it and the problem has disappeared. I just want to know if anyone else knows about this issue with the 08+ models and if they know what I should do.

Cheers,

Try some high octane fuel first, V power or whatever you get in New Zealand.

See if the problem is less or gone and report back.
