Default MOT not showing on import?

Quick question guys.......

My JDM Has been recently imported. Went through the MOT fine and I have the certificate, but for some reason it's not registering on the DVLA website. Also, it wouldent let me do the tax online because they apparantly had no record of a valid MOT, even though I have the certificate in my hand? Anyone got any clues or had this problem themselves? Car is taxed as I done it in a post office, but I'm slightly worried that I'll get pulled by the Police as it may not come up their system?

I have the same issue, mine was MOT'd before it was registered. I just carry my MOT certificate around with me in case I get stopped.

Same here with mine Peedee. Mine was MOT'd with the VIN as it wasn't registered yet. I just carry a copy of the MOT in the glovebox.

Hi mate

I had the same with my import.

If u ring the DVSA u can get them to sort it and it doesn't take long once u get to speak to some one.

The phone system they use is crap and it took ages to actually speak to someone. All you'll need is the mot cert number and your reg and they'll link it up.

0300 123 9000

It never happened to me but the anpr cameras flag cars without mot

Hope u sort it
