Imports and the Yen
The pound is at it's lowest against the Yen since 2013. Will this slow down the JDM imports coming in and will the prices of JDM cars recently imported now rise?

Having spoken to one Importer recently he only had stock coming in up to the Brexit Referendum due to concerns over the Exchange Rates and the financial situation.
His auction contacts in Japan were also worried over what would happen after Brexit and the wider implications.
Only time will tell on values but it seems up is the way to go.

I run a business dealing in Japanese imported goods, and prices are up 40% against the same time last year for the same goods as a direct result of the currency rates. Hopefully things will return to some degree of normality, but when is anybody's guess.

I think the influx of fresh imports will be slowing down now. I feel lucky now I bought mine when the yen was in the late 160's. I worked it out the last spec c I bought that arrived 4 weeks ago would of cost me about a £1000 more! The Yen this time last year was in the 180's it's now in the 130's. Wish I'd of push the boat out now and bought an RA-r.
