Default Exhaust sound

Hi all i have 2 imprezas 1 classic and 1 blob sti wide track.

The classic has an 100 cell sports cat, non res centre section and hayward & scott scoobysport style back box (pipe work is 2.5 inches). Love the sound very high pitch rasp.

Now the blob has the same set up, but with an 200 cell prodrive sports cat. It's not as rasp as the classic.

So it got me thinking, is it the sports cat different so the sound is different? Or the engine is different because the classic dont have avcs?

Thanks for all your help.

Ian

How do you find you get on for mot time in the classic? I'm also running 100 cell cat?

The 100 cell will be more free flowing.

Mot time on 100 cell the cat has to be hot. After long hardish drive, have to do the emission straight away first.

But with the 200 cell it can mot when the cars cold.
