Based on him posting 4 posts in the last 8 years I'd say you're not likely to get an answer

OP couldn't bother to even type any information other than a copy/pasted YouTube link

The car still has the standard engine, but a longer ratio rallispec gearbox. We don't have a 4WD dyno here but we predict that she is running close to 450whp on C16. I have on the Blouch Dominator 3XTR turbo.

well 450whp would equate to about 550bhp at the fly, that really is pushing that engine as we have seen quite a few let go around the 500bhp mark (at the fly).

Thanks Tony for the info. A well respected tuner in the US had said these engines could take up to 450whp reliably with a good tune. I tune the car with an Autronic SM4 and don't have her on the edge but good to know what you have experienced. I do have another V7 EJ207 engine that I may put in instead just to safeguard my S202 engine.

Can you tell me what tends to let go? i.e. pistons, rings, or bearings?

Nothing wrong with pushing an engine lol. Always have it in your mind once you go past the 450hp threshold

Rods seem to be the things that go at that sort of power, they don't even need to be stressed, just driving along and pop, out the side of the block

Hi, just an update. I have done 12 more passes consisting of three 10.8's and the rest were 11.0 - 11.2 and she is still holding up fine. I did just knock on wood! :-) I do have the car shelled out as much as I was willing to go which is 2,900lbs with me in it so I assume that must help. Here is a pic of my fastest time but there was no track bite down at 29psi. I did two more 10.8's with track bite at 27psi.
