Default Who to go to for full suspension set up

Hi all. Does anyone know of a company they would recommend to do a full set up not just geo? I had the geo done a while ago and it made the handling worse. I was told it was set up to track settings before with huge toe in which ruined the inner edges of my tyres. It was put to a "fast rd" setting. I would like the adjustable coilovers set up. Anti roll bars etc etc. My car came fully polybushed etc etc so should handle well.

I would like someone who understands Impreza suspension and not just how to align lazers if you know what i mean.

Any sugestions most welcome. Im in Surrey but will travel.

I'm planning on using Carnetix for my car when it's all back together... get pretty good reviews from what I've seen/read...

Carnetix did mine, proper service, asked what I wanted, discussed pros and cons, set it up, test drove with me in, handed over to me for the same, then I paid.

did you get a print out when you got it done, if so pop it up, and we should be able to see what`s wrong, with the right settings you should be able to go anywhere and tell them you want x,y & z settings.

Sounds like your car is and has been set up simply for track work, coilovers, polly bushes and fat roll bars don't make for very progressive suspension travel, which is what you want on bumpy roads, if your set up is really firm then it will be majorly twitchy/skittish on the road and a pig to drive quickly as you'll need to be doing silly speeds to load it up and get the components moving, which is why it has worn the tyres on the edges with it never being loaded enough to give a flat contact patch.

With the components it has on it you're going to be needing next to no camber or toe and it will be like riding a plank of wood on bricks.

You need to do some reading so you have a better understanding and then you'll know what it is that you want and how to get it, then I would start talking to either Simon at cheveron or Peter at PCA Dynamics, personally I used Peter as he used to work for Prodrive and still works with manufactures to develope their suspension set ups on new cars.

But if you want it to handle well on the road you'll probably have to swap almost everything, so be prepared to spend a few quid.

Have a look at the thread 'bigger roll bars and uk roads' that should give you some idea of the direction you need to head in.

Im happy with the front but since having alignment done after driving for a while with new roll centre adjusted ball joints fitted as car is lowered and was getting creaking on full lock.still felt ok but then aligned for new parts and its nervious.

Ive got used to hard ride not much different to my old V5 sti tbh.

Too much negative camber for a road car which will will make it twitchy at speed in a straight line, and destroy the inside edges of your tyres in no time.

Once adjusted the negative camber was changed to 0. Is that what you mean?
