Default Advice wanted on litchfield type 25

Does any one know if litchfield imported 2.0 liters and made them in to 2.5's as I am selling my type 25 but on the dvla sight it is registered as a 2litre.
Can Any one shed any light on this...
Cheers

Yes, they came from Japan as 2.0 litres and he fitted 2.5 litre bottom ends sourced from the USA. He didn't bother changing the engine details with the DVLA, and your engine number is probably EJ25, just like mine.

The 2.5 short motor was built by Cosworth before shipping to the UK.

This should avoid all the problems people have with the standard 2.5 UK versions ?

mk1 kept the JDM heads and used the factory 2.5 US block.
mk2 used the whole US Cosworth built tall engine, heads, block, cams, etc.
