Apart from the price being about half of what they go for.
Could well be legit and a massive bargain for someone?

What's up with it?
The MOT's seem straight and nothing odd about them.

I would say 90% likely to be a scam. I was looking at S2000's a little while ago and one popped up just up the road from me. Great advert, great price. MOT and HPI checked out fine. No phone number and 0 feedback. So I emailed and got a reply about getting divorced or whatever, I said I'm just down the road I want to view it. Then the whole I've got people interested send me a deposit I was like hells to the no! English was ropey (not being racist) but sounded like a scam to me.

Turns out I found the real advert. Was no where near me, seller had 1000's of feedback and was nearly double the price. I passed on what had happened and I think he got the other advert taken off.

Have you got evidence about this advert?
Poor english? Obviously you are new to Scoobynet.
Deposit promises?
Have you spoken to the seller?

Here's another one that looks dodgy. Listed for £500 says he will take £4500 for a wrx Sti. Has his contact number in advert.

Looks like it could be a wrx with sti bits? Inlet manifold strut brace and intercooler don't look standard.

This is definately a scam as the person named in the advert does not have this car for sale.
