Take a look at "S H restorations"
Never used them but their work looks spot on from pictures ive seen..
Not sure if they'd do paint or if it's just full restoration work.. they are On FB.

What year and model is it there's plenty of decent bodyshops around but if car is old it'll be a writeoff unfortunately especially if roof is damaged all depends how new the car is??
Any pics of the damage bro ??

That roof crease must make it a cat C writeoff it's pretty bad that bro
Hope the insurance sorts it out without much hassle and then you'll get an even better one
and your ok yourself could have been worse...

last time I looked under the bonnet must of been November to check oil and water!!!, I thought there was some safety catch to stop this happening. Love the car had it since new and think if it is a write off family life will mean a sensible diesel

Really depends on how they value the car.
Write off is around 70% of the cars value, they use gap and glasses guide so prepare for a fight on the price what there worth and what they sell for are two very different things.
As for the repair you have around a grand in parts plus vat,
Then a good grand in labour and paint I'd say any big ins shop is going to charge around 3k to repair it,
You could ask for a cash in leu payment as you can't buy them back now

Mine was a cat-c write-off last Feb (2016) ... similar front-end damage but nothing else . My insurance company (Elephant) wouldn't let my take cash in leu after they wrote my car off even though I asked for that option; they wrote the car off as beyond economical repair and proceeded make me an offer for the car (which I initially refused because it was £2k below the actual value of the car) and after negotiations I was able to buy it back as salvage and get it repaired.
The irony is that it cost less to buy the car back and repair it fully, than it did for the insurance company to write it off as beyond economical repair.

I just settled my claim, like 2 weeks ago. I've been hit on the side. Bent front strut, hub, suspension arm, damaged 2 wheels and 2 doors. Car was written off. Got paid out as much as I paid for car a year ago and I chose to keep the car. All took just under 30 days and was quite smooth so it isn't that bad.

Yeah, mine was settled in less than a month too. Most time-consuming part was gathering evidence to show that the value of my car was more than what they'd originally offered me.
