Standard wrx calipers good for 400bhp?
Hey all I just came across this ad and pretty stunned its running 400bhp with std brakes they must be good what you all reckon?

However, add some decent brakes, remove the decals and that may be the basis of a decent car. I'd also be worried about the state of the gearbox...
The buy it now seems on the high side though, even considering the work that has gone into it.

Got new calipers/disks/pads all round on my jdm wrx, yes they do haul it down really well (considering the superior power to the sti).
but no way good enough for 400bhp.
my wrx wagon really is different again it needs the brakes sorting out and is shocking in comparison, but it just
goes to show how good they can be when on song!.
300bhp would be about the limit though if top notch, after that its got to be brembos.
