Naughty But Nice JDM STi Goodness
So I had the chance to buy an STi aftermarket accessory oil filler cap for my Blobeye Spec C Type RA, of course it won't do anything for the car other than remove the yellow oil cap and replace it with genuine STi engine bay bling.
Not cheap, but there again the best things never are.
This is the same cap I had on my Forester STi as well.

I imported 3 of them about 2 years ago, 2 were for other owners. One of them never got used as the car ended up having a dry sump fitted, so I got it for lower price than I paid back then.
When I bought the 3 it worked out at about £195 for them all, that included all shipping, handing charges robbed by Royal Mail and duty incurred.
Not cheap I know but I paid less than the original £65 when I bought it back.

I totally agree, just a few choice details can uplift an engine bay with overpowering it and taking it too far away from standard.
That's slow going even by my standards, and I can really drag a job out believe me.

That's where the stinger is unfortunately when buying parts from outside the EU and even that will be changing before not too long as well.

The standard non Spec C battery is 173mm wide and about 232mm long, it's the width that is the measurement to take note of.
The eBay link above lists the clamp width as being 173mm, so this clamp will fit the standard D size battery used in the Impreza.
Just measure your battery's width just to make sure that you've not got a larger sized battery that the clamp won't fit.
