VF43 or VF48 on a 2.5L
Need quick answer really looking to buy either of the above tonight, believe the only difference is the bearing design used.
It will be going on a 2.5L 2007 wrx with walbro 255, new NKG plugs, full decat, injectors same as the 07 STI.
Which will give the best results?
The VF43 comes with a new core but has quite a large crack compared to most. which would you choose and which would give the best results.
thanks.

arent all hawkeye injectors the same? thought they were all 565cc
My vf35 had a crack, apparently its very common and has no effect on anything.
Before I got my blob I looked at a hawk wrx that had a vf23 turbo on it and supporting mods and that was a very punchy car. No idea what the bhp was but it certainly came on strong and spooled very quick. May be worth looking at one of the 2.0 vf turbos unless top end bhp is your aim as I think the 43/48 are bigger.

My vf48 had a billet wheel conversion and made 398bhp on my forged hatchback so if your after bigger numbers it might be worth looking into but not sure who done the conversion
