17 years, not much of a post count though is it

Only kidding,

Do you plan on being here much longer? Only asking because things are changing for the worst in my opinion.

We have gone from stick on tat to errrr, hmmm stick on tat.

The only difference is the tattoo's have progressed from forearms to necks, but the spelling as not improved.

You're deliberately fishing for replies now (ignores the grammar 'mistake').

18 years this year since I joined (changed username since) when I bought my V3 - still got it 55k miles, garaged since 2006, and still got the broquets 😄 Possibly back on the road for sunny days this year.

Still like scoobynet for the mix of opinions, good social barometer of folk who can at least string a sentence together using real words and some grammar.

I think SN lost some user names or start dates after I joined in some IT glitch or whatever ...I vaguely seem to remember. I think in 2001.

I must say they have all come and gone over the years

I'm into my 17th year here too and a couple of different user names, the earliest one dates back to 2001 I think, though I've not logged it on in a while.

I think Facebook has also helped with scoobynet's demise, where people are using local groups as well as some of the bigger ones

I'm only on my 2nd scoob in 17yrs too.
first I had 4.5yrs a MY97 uk turbo
1999 to 2004

Then
A 58 plated STi 330s MY08 Hatch register at the end of Jan 2009, I bought end of Jan 2011 to present day .. So 6yrs as if last month... And that time's has flown by.... Two kids later as well.

Bought a 52plate SF5 Forester Sport last June with only 38500 miles on it.

I've not quite been on here that long

Moved on a couple of years ago - seems that most forums are dying these days - used to live on Surrey Scoobies thats now migrated to FB.

13 for me Although went without for a while

Just the way it is at the min, people tend to remember whats said on forums, facebook is just post your rubbish and even if your a totaly bell end its all forgotten the next day. Amount of crap advice i have seen on there is unreal, especially dodgy wannabe tuners poping up.

Very few of the decent tuners/car owners hang around on forums now. 22B still has the highest level of tech knowledge but even on there some of the well respected mappers/tuners don't bother any more.
