I'm also interested, as I'm a sucker for a bolt on upgrade.
How difficult are they to fit?

This looks really good. I'd certainly be interested.

Anyone stocking these in the UK?

I've already tried to justify the clutch as a valentines present. It didn't work.
And I've already got a backlog of stuff that I've bought and not fitted.

One more part won't hurt then! haha. I'm justifying this to myself as it's the wifes birthday next month. This is a present from me to myself. Why should she be the only one getting gifts?

I've just added this to my FSTI spending spreadsheet which (not including buying the car less than a year ago) has now come to £5.6k on upgrades alone. hahaha.

Is it worth e-mailing Scoobyclinic about ordering some more for potential buyers from here and the forester.org page? I'm sure if you are happy with the product others will want to spend their salad as well...?

I have on in my hawk, it was fitted when I bought it, no real comparison really except feels better than my old bug eye for shifting, seems more positive, not a lot of throw which is a good thing in my opinion

Cheers @Mark10sti for the feedback. I've e-mailed scoobyclinic about getting some more in stock and the possibility of a group buy if we get enough takers. I know a few peeps on the forester forum that may wish to get one....

Here is the response....

Hi,

we had twenty in stock and they wouldn’t sell so we reduced the price
and now they have all gone, I will re order 20 today and see what price
break we get but as the exchange rate isnt in our favou, a group buy
will be available but I fear cost wise it wont be a great saving on the
E bay listing but I will do my best
thank you
Kev

Cool. Better than nothing. Seems I was lucky on that eBay one then. Didn't realise they only had one in stock!

It arrived! Looks nice. Large box, tiny bits. Don't get a lot for your money, but if it works then I'll be happy!

It's fitted!

Took me an entire 30 minutes to fit from unlocking my car to being ready for the test drive when it was all back together.

First impressions, well I should probably urge you not to buy this, as it made me take my car for a very uncharacteristic spirited drive once I'd fitted it!

It's great. Have not yet fitted the bushes underneath, that will be a job for another day. Even just fitting the short shift adaptor it's really improved the feel of the gear change and it already feel far more positive than it did before. I've only set it at a guess somewhere between 5-10mm taller than it was originally, but that's enough to make a big difference to the feel. As far as height goes you can see absolutely no difference and feel no difference in height from where it was originally, which I'm very pleased about.

This is very well designed & engineered and the build quality is great. It really does fit the standard shifter rod like a glove. The tolerances are perfect. I'm an Engineer and a perfectionist and that's quite a compliment.

The only thing I would say is that when installing it ensure you have the right sized punch available to remove the original roll pin. I purchased a punch set from HellFrauds for £4 that contained a small punch that was perfect for the job and it made my life very easy indeed.

Also, as this is was built in the US you'll need imperial Allen keys for the grub screws, not metric. Can't remember the size, think it could either be 1/16 or 5/64 size.

In summary, highly recommend this mod. For the money it's great!
