Hi All, come back to subaru at last, however am rebuilding the engine first.... seriously chewed bearing on no3 so full build it is

she is an sti v4 in silver, good and straight condition, am after advice on conrods as I either replace 1 of the rods like for like, or put a set of forged one's in?

If you are rebuilding you might aswell go forged rather than do like for like and have another conrod or piston fail some time later and have to do another rebuild.

Depends on your budget. How much power are you going for?

New age factory STI con rods are a good cost efficient up grade.
Suburu cranks do not respond well to grinding and over size bearings, replace the crank if its damaged.
