South Worcs servicing - PCP @ Powerstation?
Hi chums,
I've got my new to me WRX, which I need to get serviced and the cambelt changed (previous owner says it was done by last owner but no proof). Firstly how do I know whether I should be buying a full belt kit and pulleys or just the belt (or is just the belt not even an option)? Should I just put my faith in my service mechanic to do what's best for the car?
I've contacted PCP @ Powerstation and was just looking for a general hive mind approval of their work, seemed very professional via email so far.
TIA!

Buy a full kit or ask for a full kit to be fitted (belt, pulleys, tensioner) if no history etc better to be safe.
when i bought mine, previous owner stated it had been done around 15k ago but was 2.5 years ago. All pulleys were perfect minus the smaller idler pulley which had pretty much gone (bearings wise) You could see where it had ate slightly into the belt. Another year or less would have caused significant damage.
Sorry no experience of PCP, sure someone will chime in
