Use adblock, it'll block the 10+ revenue scripts they run on this site.

The only forum ive ever seen with more advertising was a games forum. If only they'd realise were not in the 90s any more, having 50 odd obtrusive adverts wont pay as well as actually running a good forum with a few adverts.

Think they're trying to use it to get more people to actually log in, probably so they can show more traffic to potential advertisers

Just type a few letters in the subject part and a few more in the question part, then ask question... pops up with a log in box... close the box then you get another pop up, hit ok and it goes away without needing to log in, takes 10 seconds after some practice.
